Can I return my custom engraved product?

All products sold by AuchShop are custom engraved and personalized according to your specifications. Due to the bespoke nature of these items, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges for custom items.

This policy is in accordance with applicable laws governing the sale of custom-made products, including exceptions to the right of withdrawal under consumer protection regulations.

What if my product arrives damaged or defective?

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged due to our production process, please notify us within seven (7) days of receipt by emailing support@theauchshop.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the defect or damage

Upon verification, we may offer a replacement of the same item. Minor variations in color, design placement, or engraving depth are inherent to the custom engraving process and do not qualify as defects.

Can I cancel my order?

You may request cancellation of your order within twelve (12) hours of purchase by emailing support@theauchshop.com with your order number.

After this window, your order enters production and cannot be cancelled. Please verify all order details carefully before finalizing your purchase.

What if I made a mistake in my order?

We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided during the ordering process (misspellings, incorrect dates, etc.). Please review your order confirmation email carefully upon receipt.

Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the ordering process is accurate, complete, and free of errors. This includes names, dates, messages, design elements, and any other customization details.

3. Defective or Damaged Products

Notification Period: If you receive a product that is defective or damaged due to our production process, you must notify us in writing at support@theauchshop.com within seven (7) days of receipt.

Required Information: Your notification should include your order number, a detailed description of the defect or damage, and photographic evidence supporting your claim.

Exclusions: Minor variations in color, design placement, or engraving depth are inherent in custom engraving processes and do not qualify as defects. We are not liable for products damaged during shipping; such claims must be filed directly with the carrier.

4. Replacement Policy

Eligibility: If a product is found to be defective or damaged due to our production process, we will, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement of the same item.

Process: We may require you to return the defective or damaged product to us. If so, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label. Upon receipt and verification of the defective or damaged product, we will initiate the production of a replacement item.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Window: You may request a cancellation of your order within twelve (12) hours of purchase. After this period, the production process begins, and cancellations are no longer permitted.

How to Cancel: To cancel your order, you must send a cancellation request to support@theauchshop.com within the allowed timeframe. Please include your order number and reason for cancellation.

Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the ordering process is accurate. We strongly encourage you to review your order carefully before finalizing the purchase.

Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.

Timeframe for Corrections: Corrections or changes must be requested within twelve (12) hours of placing the order. After this period, the order will proceed to production as per the details provided.

7. Shipping Costs

Defective or Damaged Products: If a return is approved for a defective or damaged product, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Customer-Initiated Returns: Since returns are generally not accepted for custom products, the issue of shipping costs does not typically arise. Any unauthorized returns will not be accepted, and we are not responsible for shipping costs incurred.

8. International Customers

Right of Withdrawal Exception: Under Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. Therefore, EU customers do not have the right to return custom engraved products.

Local Regulations: It is your responsibility to ensure that the importation of custom engraved products complies with local laws and regulations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Scope of Liability: In no event shall AuchShop be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to this Policy.

Cap on Liability: Our maximum liability to you under any circumstances shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product that is the subject of a claim.

10. Governing Law

Applicable Law: This Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas and the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Kansas, in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration institution.
